The impact of the pandemic has been far-reaching, with economies all over the world trying to navigate the many uncertainties as best as possible. In the thick of all this, no one really considered how it would impact Christmas… well, no one but the people at Santa’s Club.
The brains behind Santa’s Club had the brilliant idea of keeping the spirit of Christmas going, in spite of all the lockdowns globally, by arranging virtual visits from Santa. Santa’s Club needed a stable, reliable, virtual, live platform to connect Santa with the thousands of kids whose parents had signed up for Santa’s visit. Cybaxis took on the challenge as a passion project, building out and improving greatly on Santa Club’s infrastructure to deliver stellar videoconferencing with crisp, high resolution video and lucid-clear audio, delivered right in the comfort of the children’s homes.
The result was a stunning platform that allowed kids to communicate with Santa real-time, share with Santa what they wanted for Christmas, as they make promises to continue to be good (and better) in the upcoming year. Cybaxis helped to create an experience that kids will remember forever. The irony of the fact that the most memorable Christmas for children would be one during a pandemic, and that, because Cybaxis helped make it happen!
